# Getting started with AI Staff

> Hire your first AI staff member in 5 steps.

AI Staff are pre-built expert roles you hire and deploy to your WhatsApp channel. Each staff member handles a specific topic using your knowledge base.

    Click **Browse AI Staff Library** to see all available roles.

  <Step title="Choose a role">
    Pick a role that matches your business need. The **Sales Executive** handles product enquiries and lead qualification — it's the most popular first hire.

  <Step title="Complete the 5-step setup">
    The setup wizard will walk you through: knowledge base → name & language → dos & don'ts → model → agreement.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add to your team">
    Click **Add to My Team** — your new staff member is live immediately on your WhatsApp number.
