# Accepting a team invite

> What your team member needs to do after you send them an invite.

When you invite someone, StoreTalk sends them a WhatsApp message with a link. Here is exactly what they need to do.

    They get a message from StoreTalk with a "Join your team" link.

  <Step title="Tap the link">
    The link opens StoreTalk in their browser.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Fill in their details">
    They enter their full name, email address, and choose a password.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Verify their email">
    StoreTalk sends a 6-digit code to their email. They enter it to verify.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Done">
    Their account is created and they are logged in immediately.
  </Step>

<Tip>
  The verification code is valid for 15 minutes. If it expires, they can tap **Resend code** to get a new one.

## If they already have a StoreTalk account

If the invitee already has a StoreTalk account with the same email, they can sign in with their existing account and accept the invite — no new account needed.

  The invite link is single-use and tied to the phone number you sent it to. It cannot be forwarded to a different person.
